Falher Regional Intermunicipal Library Board (FRILB)

On December 15, 2015, the Town of Falher and the Village of Donnelly jointly agreed to establish an intermunicipal library board to manage the provision of public library services for their residents. 

FRILB replaced the Town of Falher Library Board in March 15, 2016.  We provide library service in the same location in Falher and continued operations as the Falher Library / Bibliothèque Dentinger, in recognition of our bilingual history and the significant contributions of Mme. Marguerite Dentinger.

Board Membership & Current Trustees

The Board is comprised of 7 - 10 trustees, who are appointed by either the Town of Falher (8/10) or the Village of Donnelly (2/10) for terms of one to three years.

James Bell:  Member-At-Large – Appointed by the Town of Falher

Lindsay Brown: Municipal Representative for the Town of Falher (2024)

Luc Levesque: Member-At-Large – Appointed by the Town of Falher Council

Devon ZDeb: Member-At-Large – Appointed by the Village of Donnelly

Alain Blanchette: MDSR Councillor – Appointed by the Town of Falher Council (2024)

Alyssa Pollard: Member-At-Large – Appointed by the Town of Falher Council

Mai Noosri-Berube: Member-At-Large

Board meetings

Our regular meetings are open to the public, and The Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m (excluding the Summer months).   All meetings are currently being conducted virtually using ZOOM.  If you wish to attend as a guest (available by phoning in only) please contact our Library Manager, Doreen Horvath, for details on how to attend.  Delegation requests should be sent to the Board at falherregional.im.libraryboard@gmail.com.

Meeting will take place on the first Tuesday of the month, starting in February and not meeting July or August.

Library trustees are quiet heroes in our communities.  We are currently looking for people who want to support ongoing operations and help shape future development of local public library services by volunteering their skills and time as a member of our Board.
